Email Jan 2023:Hi, I was a former community councillor for Abermorddu, I successfully convinced the council to adopt the kiosk on Hawarden rd. I painted the kiosk in the first year but no one else had any interest to maintain its condition which is now in need of revitalising.
A decision was made at a recent council meeting to dispose of the kiosk,I am no longer a councillor but I offered to refurbish the kiosk at no cost to the council, this was declined and unfortunately this iconic landmark is due to be removed , I have tried relentlessly to preserve it but alas they are not interested.
