I am a local from Cove. My father (lives)…just as you pass our road end where the Cove sign is.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for listing the phone box. It holds many many memories for those of us from Cove.
I call the phonebox at least once a week just make sure it is in service. When I get home I call friends from there just to ensure bt can’t take it away. I’m sure we have photos of when it was the old black telephone then the gray one. it was a life line to us in the 80’s and many tourists before Mobile phones…..!
